About the Artist

Lindsey Western is a landscape artist based out of Utah and draws inspiration and content from the beautiful Colorado Plateau.

Seems fitting that an artist with the last name of ‘Western’ is making landscapes of the southwest.

Lindsey graduated with a degree in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Printmaking from Northern Arizona University, where she found a great appreciation for the desert. Frequent visits to the Grand Canyon and Southern Utah provided inspiration and insight into how much life there was in these barren regions.

Her works highlight delicate regions of the Southwest that are our sources of water and are often under threat of misuse by people, politicians and corporations. Lindsey creates these pieces in hopes to invoke joy, wonder, and memories to those who have visited and have yet to visit these places respectfully.

She hopes to do art full time, create enough inventory for a shop, and follow suite with other artists she looks up to by donating profits to movements that work towards protecting the environment, human rights and social issues, as well as local non-profits.
